Bride of The Water God - Review (K drama)

The drama is about a deity who is almost all powerful but needs to find some stones on earth so he can be the king of all deities. He lands on earth looses his powers and meets a psychiatrist, who turns out to be his servant. Now he needs to gather the stones and go back to claim his throne. But wait! For some mysterious reason he lost all his powers, his map and deities who were supposed to hand over the stones to him- avoid him.

I will start with the good stuff, the actors were cool, they did an awesome job, the scenery was beautiful and the beginning was quite hopeful (In terms of story development).  I read somewhere that the land of water was actually shot in an Indian Mahal, so kudos to the production team for making that happen. There were many highs and lows in the plot that kept you hooked. You could feel the hard work everyone put in the project, the graphics were really cool and characters were likable.

I expected so much from this drama, because I used to read the manga. When I first read the story I was enchanted. I was expecting to feel something like that, alas I was disappointed. They should not have said that it was an adaptation of the manga.Frankly speaking I don't know what it was either. You can't call it an adaption because of how much it sways away from the original story  and characters, but you can't say it's a drama inspired by the manga either because of the basic things it picked up. Some people are calling it a spin off but , no it isn't? I can only say that it was a lazy attempt from the writer's side.  They put so much water in the soup that now its just dirty water. So now you can't have it as a meal and absolutely not as a drink. (That was mean I am sorry, It's not like my drawing is any good)
They tried to kdramafy the manga. You know, numerous love triangles, walking down the street, going to amusement part, the lovable sidekick etc.

But was it worth watching? ABSOLUTELY
Why, you ask? Well, my friend, I was only disappointed because I read the manga. Because if I hadn't, I know that I would have loved it one hundred percent. I wish I could have seen the red dress of the bride from the manga in the drama but its okay. the characters were so Kawai that all is well.

Confession: I did not read the entire manga so my opinion doesn't even count.

You Are too Much - Review

This drama is too much, too too too Toooooooooo Much!!! So the story revolves around two women. One being a popular star and the other her imitator. This drama is filled up to the brim with shouting, screaming, kicking, beating, potting, crying, lying, deceiving  and cheating. Before watching this drama you must know that no one in the rich family eats, they only gather at the table to fight If for once they do eat that just means they have acquired the energy to fight even more. It is one of the first dramas that I watched and has more then 21 episodes. The plot is amazing and the first few episodes really reel you in but then the one of the main character get changed because they got sick in real life #getwellsoon, and the drama sort of looses a little bit of its charm. When The actor was first replaced I dropped the drama and though that I would probably never see it again but the story stayed in my head and I wanted to know what would happen next. Yes, there are moments wher

Beautiful Mind

This is a poster for  Beautiful Mind . The poster art copyright is believed to belong to  Korean Broadcasting System . I just finished watching this drama and I do not know what to do with my life any more. The story is so good and I loved each character. The power rangers are amazing doctors, I loved to see them gossip and make fun of each other. The story is about a sociopath doctor. He is unable to feel empathy and all his decisions are based on logic alone. He starts connecting with his emotions as he goes through trials and tribulations in the hospital. A female police inspector gives him a chance and tries to teach him basic human emotions. Their love story is amazing, I actually imagined them grown old together (sob). I am not sure why but I do not really like dramas based on medical practices. My main reason for giving this drama a try was Jang Hyuk and I was not disappointed. He never fails to bring a personality to life with each of his characters. A few things tha

Kill Me, Heal Me Vs Hyde, Jekyll, Me - Review

Seemingly there is soooooo much common between these two dramas, like they both aired in the January of 2015 or that they both are about Chaebols suffering with the same psychological disorder ( Dissociative Identity Disorder) , who are trying to hide their demons from the world and will be saved by ladies in shinning lop gloss. Aaaaaaannnnnddd that's just about it! Other then the basic plot which seems very rudimentary at first sight but has its own depths of each drama, both the stories are very different from each other. Let's save the best for last and talk about  Hyde, Jekyll, Me first. The aesthetics are very eye catching, that include the male lead, Hyun Bin with  his two charming personalities (Gu Seo Jin and Robin)  that hate each other. For them to live a normal life Gu seo Jin must come to terms with his past and deal with the sorrow and anxiety that comes with it, but turns out he's a coward. Evidently there are a lot of changes to be made before he could
