The K2 - Review

The K2 is a drama about a military man, who has been removed from his position on false accusations and is now in hiding. His already damned fate takes another bitter turn when he witnesses a presidential candidate in a not so decent setting, which leads him to be on the run again. This drama is also about a girl who has spent most of her life in captivity because she is the illegitimate daughter of a politician. The plot is very interesting and deep, with themes that are relevant to not just Korean society but any place that is rotting with corruption. One of the themes that appealed to me, the most, was that every person is both a lamb and a wolf, and the position changes based on their circumstances.

I just finished watching this drama and I am a little disappointed. It is a much loved drama and I thought it would be great and it was in the beginning, but as the episodes go by it becomes a little annoying. The plot is soooooooooo good and the mind games were very entertaining but there was very little character development, actually more then having no character development it was more like they had no consistency. I wish I could explain this.

Best Moment: When the male lead first falls in love with the translator. (This would have been a better story I think)

Worst Moment: The scene where the female lead dances with a packet of Ramen, I mean why????

You Are too Much - Review

This drama is too much, too too too Toooooooooo Much!!! So the story revolves around two women. One being a popular star and the other her imitator. This drama is filled up to the brim with shouting, screaming, kicking, beating, potting, crying, lying, deceiving  and cheating. Before watching this drama you must know that no one in the rich family eats, they only gather at the table to fight If for once they do eat that just means they have acquired the energy to fight even more. It is one of the first dramas that I watched and has more then 21 episodes. The plot is amazing and the first few episodes really reel you in but then the one of the main character get changed because they got sick in real life #getwellsoon, and the drama sort of looses a little bit of its charm. When The actor was first replaced I dropped the drama and though that I would probably never see it again but the story stayed in my head and I wanted to know what would happen next. Yes, there are moments wher

Beautiful Mind

This is a poster for  Beautiful Mind . The poster art copyright is believed to belong to  Korean Broadcasting System . I just finished watching this drama and I do not know what to do with my life any more. The story is so good and I loved each character. The power rangers are amazing doctors, I loved to see them gossip and make fun of each other. The story is about a sociopath doctor. He is unable to feel empathy and all his decisions are based on logic alone. He starts connecting with his emotions as he goes through trials and tribulations in the hospital. A female police inspector gives him a chance and tries to teach him basic human emotions. Their love story is amazing, I actually imagined them grown old together (sob). I am not sure why but I do not really like dramas based on medical practices. My main reason for giving this drama a try was Jang Hyuk and I was not disappointed. He never fails to bring a personality to life with each of his characters. A few things tha

Kill Me, Heal Me Vs Hyde, Jekyll, Me - Review

Seemingly there is soooooo much common between these two dramas, like they both aired in the January of 2015 or that they both are about Chaebols suffering with the same psychological disorder ( Dissociative Identity Disorder) , who are trying to hide their demons from the world and will be saved by ladies in shinning lop gloss. Aaaaaaannnnnddd that's just about it! Other then the basic plot which seems very rudimentary at first sight but has its own depths of each drama, both the stories are very different from each other. Let's save the best for last and talk about  Hyde, Jekyll, Me first. The aesthetics are very eye catching, that include the male lead, Hyun Bin with  his two charming personalities (Gu Seo Jin and Robin)  that hate each other. For them to live a normal life Gu seo Jin must come to terms with his past and deal with the sorrow and anxiety that comes with it, but turns out he's a coward. Evidently there are a lot of changes to be made before he could
