Best Korean Dramas Of 2017

I think it is safe to say that 2017 was/is the Year of BTS and Prosecutors in K-Land.  So congratulations to the band for everything they achieved this year and I hope they keep going up and I know the year isn't over yet but I think we have a enough material for a post like this.

These dramas may not be the most popular but I really liked them! This article is based on my opinion but the dramas are not in any particular order I just like them all.

Queen Of Mystery

I really loved this show and I am so happy that it is getting a second season. It's a story about a housewife who lives with her mother and sister in law. She spends most of her day cleaning, cooking and washing, but when no one is looking she reads and researches crimes. One fateful day she helps a cop solve a crime and her mystery adventures begin, but things cant always be safe when you are playing this game. We learn that as she and the neighborhood cop accidentally become a part of a drug related case. Which leads our lovely Ahjumma/ Aghashi to meet the tsudere cop who was originally working on the case. As things turn out he and the nosy housewife need to work together to solve the case. Both these main characters have dark things in their past that they need to solve for them to be at peace.

Witch's Court

This drama hasn't ended yet but it is really really good. It has a strong female lead in search of her mother who disappeared when she was just a child. She learns later that her mother was a part of a rape case and slowly all secrets come out in the open. She aims to reveal these dirty secrets and catch the culprit!

Defendant

Too Good! The mystery and mind games will blow your brain away. It starts with the lead in jail unable to remember why he was there. He tries to clear his name and find the true culprit as his memory slowly comes back to him. Ji Sung is an amazing actor, he really brings life to the story, if nothing else just watch this drama because he is in it.

Suspicious Partner

Beautiful love story entrapped in mystery. The female lead gets blamed for a murder she did not commit and together with the male lead they try to catch the serial killer who has a story of his own.
Extremely well-written, well-thought and well-portrayed plot. This drama made me cry like a baby, the OST is the only song in the whole world that brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it.
(The memory of that day)

Fight For My Way

This drama focuses on how important it is to focus on your dreams because as children we all come up with these great things we  want to be but then life beats us down and we lower our standards amd then we end up sad and unfulfilled for life. All of that with a cute love story and some mystery.

Radiant Office

I Really really Really like this drama because of it's unconventional story. Three people who are broke and depressed try to commit suicide on the same day and are brought into the hospital, while their eyes are closed they listen to the doctors saying that one of them is terminally ill but since they don't have the money to pay the hospital bills they sneak out of the hospitals. Lo and behold all of these three kids find a job and in the same company but they opt to not get tested since they don't have the means to pay for the treatment.
As the drama moves on they live and learn many new thing, they help each other out and sometimes even fight but one of them starts show signs of ill health and things become a bit more serious. Watch the drama to find out more.

Good Manager/Chief Kim

This drama is about a manager who has spent his live cooking books for his employers, he is a genius when it comes to numbers and uses his gift for all the wrong reasons. But fate puts him in a position where he is praised as an honest good man by the public and slowly he starts to live up to that persona. Which is hard because he was only employed for his talent to cook books.

Very Exciting drama about an office. Its depicts the Epitome of Bromance, but there are no strong romances or love triangles, except one between the supporting characters.

Goblin

It's a story of undying love that defeats the challenges of space and time. The story goes like there is this girl who can see ghosts and these ghosts tell her that it has been prophesied that she would marry the mighty Goblin. When they meet it turns out that she may be his bride but she also needs to kill him for him to be free of his curse.

This was a really good drama and the whole world loved it but personally after a while I got bored. I am not saying that this drama lacked in anyway just that for me I repeat For Me it became to sweet to handle at one point.

On a side note: I can't believe 2017 is almost over.

You Are too Much - Review

This drama is too much, too too too Toooooooooo Much!!! So the story revolves around two women. One being a popular star and the other her imitator. This drama is filled up to the brim with shouting, screaming, kicking, beating, potting, crying, lying, deceiving  and cheating. Before watching this drama you must know that no one in the rich family eats, they only gather at the table to fight If for once they do eat that just means they have acquired the energy to fight even more. It is one of the first dramas that I watched and has more then 21 episodes. The plot is amazing and the first few episodes really reel you in but then the one of the main character get changed because they got sick in real life #getwellsoon, and the drama sort of looses a little bit of its charm. When The actor was first replaced I dropped the drama and though that I would probably never see it again but the story stayed in my head and I wanted to know what would happen next. Yes, there are moments wher

Beautiful Mind

This is a poster for  Beautiful Mind . The poster art copyright is believed to belong to  Korean Broadcasting System . I just finished watching this drama and I do not know what to do with my life any more. The story is so good and I loved each character. The power rangers are amazing doctors, I loved to see them gossip and make fun of each other. The story is about a sociopath doctor. He is unable to feel empathy and all his decisions are based on logic alone. He starts connecting with his emotions as he goes through trials and tribulations in the hospital. A female police inspector gives him a chance and tries to teach him basic human emotions. Their love story is amazing, I actually imagined them grown old together (sob). I am not sure why but I do not really like dramas based on medical practices. My main reason for giving this drama a try was Jang Hyuk and I was not disappointed. He never fails to bring a personality to life with each of his characters. A few things tha

Kill Me, Heal Me Vs Hyde, Jekyll, Me - Review

Seemingly there is soooooo much common between these two dramas, like they both aired in the January of 2015 or that they both are about Chaebols suffering with the same psychological disorder ( Dissociative Identity Disorder) , who are trying to hide their demons from the world and will be saved by ladies in shinning lop gloss. Aaaaaaannnnnddd that's just about it! Other then the basic plot which seems very rudimentary at first sight but has its own depths of each drama, both the stories are very different from each other. Let's save the best for last and talk about  Hyde, Jekyll, Me first. The aesthetics are very eye catching, that include the male lead, Hyun Bin with  his two charming personalities (Gu Seo Jin and Robin)  that hate each other. For them to live a normal life Gu seo Jin must come to terms with his past and deal with the sorrow and anxiety that comes with it, but turns out he's a coward. Evidently there are a lot of changes to be made before he could
